Paul blows me away with the trust he places in his intuition. He trusts a vision of a man pleading with him to come to Macedonia enough to set out immediately. What, no travel guide, no reservations, not even the name of the person who’s supposed to meet him at the end of his travels?! With the streets and stars as his GPS Paul follows his heart; set ablaze by God.
While on the road he takes the Sabbath Day to head out of the city of Phillipi, to a river where he “supposed there was a place of prayer.” Again, not knowing or certain, Paul listens to the nudging of the Spirit and finds a place and a people for prayer.
Are there times when “Travelling Mercies” have met you on the road? Do you have that trust that has you bumping into angels in plainclothes at regular intervals?
I Celebrate the Love that keeps encountering me in my Sisters and Brothers on the Way. Thank you for being Light.
